How Campfire works: integrations

Campfire integrates with the tools your finance and ops teams already use — CRMs, billing systems, payroll, expenses, and banking — to keep your GL current without manual data entry.

Integration philosophy

Campfire's general ledger stays current because it pulls data directly from the operational systems where transactions originate. Rather than requiring manual journal entries or periodic CSV imports, Campfire maintains live connections to your stack and processes transactions as they occur.

CRM integrations

Salesforce — Contracts, opportunities, and account data sync to power revenue recognition and AR. When a deal closes or a contract is amended, Campfire picks it up automatically.

HubSpot — Same contract and deal sync as Salesforce, built for teams that run on HubSpot CRM.

Billing and payments

Stripe — Invoices, payments, refunds, and disputes sync in real time. Campfire handles the revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting from Stripe transactions automatically.

Chargebee — Subscription lifecycle events (new subs, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations) flow into Campfire and trigger the correct recognition and billing treatment.

Recurly — Similar to Chargebee — subscription billing events mapped to accounting entries.

Payroll

Rippling — Payroll journal entries post automatically to the GL after each payroll run, coded to the correct departments and expense categories.

Gusto — Payroll sync for teams on Gusto, with automatic coding and accrual support.

Expenses

Ramp — Corporate card transactions and expense reports sync to Campfire and are coded to the correct GL accounts based on merchant and category rules you define.

Brex — Same as Ramp — card transactions and spend data flow directly into the GL.

Banking

Direct bank feed connections for major US banks, with automatic reconciliation against transactions recorded in the system.

AP

Bill.com / BILL — Vendor bills and payment records sync to Campfire, keeping accounts payable current without duplicate entry.

Tax

Avalara / TaxJar — Sales tax calculations and filings integrate with Campfire's billing and revenue data.

Building custom integrations

Campfire provides a webhook and API layer for teams that need to connect internal systems or tools not on the standard integration list. Your implementation team will help scope any custom connections needed during onboarding.
